Our roots in fabrication, mechanics and problem-solving go back to the early 1980s. What eventually became Merlin’s Fab grew from a simple habit: seeing something that could work better and figuring out how to make it happen.
That experience became a business in the early 2000s. In 2020, we rebranded as Merlin’s Fab & Innovation to reflect our growing focus on developing unique products and bringing new ideas to market.
Behind Merlin’s Fab is a fabricator, innovator and first responder. My experiences on the job, on the trail and in the shop shape the problems I notice and the solutions I develop.
Every product we build starts with a real-world problem. See a problem. Figure out a better way. Build it. Test it. Refine it.
That’s how products at Merlin’s Fab come to life. Some solve problems on a Ford Super Duty. Some make fabrication easier. Others started because something as simple as an e-bike tail light needed a better way to mount. Different products. Same philosophy: if there’s a better way to do it, let’s build it.
I design, build, test and use these products myself because they’re solutions I wanted and couldn’t find. When you contact Merlin’s Fab, you’re talking with the person behind the products.
We’re not interested in making another version of what already exists just to put our name on it. We’d rather solve a problem.
Bypass the factory 30-minute idle shutdown on your 2023+ Ford Super Duty F-250–F-600. Idle On! Standard works with gas and diesel engines through the factory SEIC connection. No ECU programming required. Choose Pre Wired (Plug-n-Play) or You-Wire. For selectable high idle, choose PLUS.
Add selectable high idle and bypass the factory 30-minute shutdown on your 2023+ Ford Super Duty F-250–F-600. Idle On! PLUS works with gas and diesel engines. Set the parking brake and activate high idle within the first 20 minutes. Choose Pre Wired (Plug-n-Play) or You-Wire.
Mount your Mokwheel Obsidian tail light to the rear cargo rack with this bolt-on adapter. The light slides into the adapter and locks in place. Designed and tested on the Obsidian; fitment on other models has not been verified.
Build a vertical-to-horizontal 2×72 belt grinder with the KRAKEN weld-together kit. Includes laser-cut steel parts, drive and tension wheels, and assembly hardware. Motor, VFD, tooling arm, platen and tool rest are not included. Welding and tapping are required.
Complete your KRAKEN 2×72 belt grinder setup with a weld-together platen and deep backing plate kit. Includes a 15-inch aluminum tooling arm, replaceable 2×8-inch wear plate, two 2-inch aluminum contact wheels and assembly fasteners. Some welding is required.
